Basics of Home Canning with Amanda Kostman In-Person
Presented by UW Extension Educator Amanda Kostman, MS. Food preservation is the art-and-science of creating conditions wherein food lasts longer than a few days-or-weeks after harvest. We will discuss the canning process, approved canning methods as well as tips and tricks to make your harvest last longer. If you have a pressure canner gauge, feel free to bring the gauge to get it tested.
