Celebrating 95 Years of Nancy Drew: Short Story Writing Contest
Celebrate 95 years of Nancy Drew with a mystery writing contest. Write your own Nancy Drew style story with suspense, clues and an unexpected twist. Think intriguing puzzles, mysterious characters and a strong, clever protagonist. Use this prompt to craft your story: "Nancy is called in to solve the mystery of a famous book that has gone missing from a local library. But is the real mystery the book itself, or something much darker?"
Stories should be 500-2,000 words, typed and original. Submit stories to the Help Desk or email dbeck@communitylib.org with the subject line "Nancy Drew Mystery Contest". Entries are due by August 2 and will be judged by library staff.
